    I’m ready to purchase Connect for my course. What now?

    Obtain the course-specific URL provided by your instructor. You will be prompted to register using a registration code. If you do not have a registration code, you will have the option to purchase access to Connect online with a credit card.

    You may also be able to purchase Connect access through your Bookstore.

    I’m trying to register for my course, but I don’t see the Register Now button. Help!

    In the event the Register Now button has disappeared and you see this message instead: Registration for This Section is Now Closed, this means that the registration period for your course has expired. Your instructor designated a timeframe for registration and the deadline has lapsed. Reach out to your instructor.

    Can I get trial access to Connect?

    Courtesy Access is available for select programs. If Courtesy Access is available for your course program and you are a new Connect user, you may register for Courtesy Access. This means that you will receive free access to your Connect course for 14 days.

    Courtesy Access is particularly useful for students who are awaiting financial aid and for those who may drop the class.

    Be sure to upgrade to full Connect access before the 14 day Courtesy Access period expires to avoid any delays in completing your coursework.

    How do I register for Courtesy Access?

    Obtain the course-specific URL provided by your instructor. On the registration page click on the button marked: Start Courtesy Access.

    My Courtesy Access period has expired and I forgot to upgrade to full Connect Access. Will my work in Connect be saved?

    Yes. Simply login with the same username and password you used to register and choose to: “Purchase Full Connect Access Here”. You’ll find that all your coursework has been preserved.

    You may also be able to purchase a Connect access code through your Bookstore.

    I’m retaking a class. Do I have to register for Connect again?

    Yes, you must register for the new section. Depending on your Connect program and your registration status you may not have to create a new account. Obtain the course-specific URL provided by your instructor, enter it into your browser and follow the prompts.

    What’s the best way to login to Connect?
    1. Check with your instructor to see if he or she requires you to use Connect and will be providing you with a course web address. Then proceed to one of the two options below:

    YES, my instructor requires me to use Connect.

    1. Go to the Connect course web address provided by your instructor.
    2. Click on “Register Now.”
    3. When prompted, enter the access code listed under the pull tab. Complete the brief online registration form that follows.

    NO, my instructor does not require me to use Connect. I am using it for self-study.

    1. Go to www.mheducation.ca/selfstudy
    2. Search for the Connect product that you have purchased.
    3. Register for self-study with the access code listed under the pull tab.
