The last video in our adaptive learning series covered the process of developing adaptive learning systems. In this video, you’ll learn more about the role and limits of learning science in adaptive learning product design – the educational theories that back up learning science and how they are applied to adaptive learning technology.

Although adaptive learning technology is still being developed and improved upon, there are some valuable takeaways mentioned in this video. As we’ve learned, pedagogy and course design must take advantage of the adaptive learning system to help see the benefits of learning science theories like Benjamin Bloom’s 2 Sigma Problem. Adaptive learning systems must also be thoughtfully implemented to help achieve the goals of learning science theory used to back up the system.
