Increased Content that’s Relevant to a Canadian Context. The 2026 Release includes updated statistics, current events, and examples of diversity that are relevant to a Canadian context. This includes increasing the amount of Canadian research presented throughout, updating terminology to reflect the Canadian perspective, and highlighting perspectives on health-relevant information for Indigenous people and other minority groups.
New Directions in Health Psychology Learning Objective. Content from Chapter 15, Health Challenges for the Future, has been integrated into the end of relevant chapters under a new learning objective section titled New Directions in Health Psychology. This new section highlights emerging trends and the latest developments in the field, offering insights into the future of health psychology.
