Overview

Antonacci, Criminal Justice, Second Canadian Edition offers students an engaging, current, and informative exploration into the criminal justice system. This is achieved by providing a student-friendly overview of the people, processes, and contemporary issues within the criminal justice system today.

To help readers understand the relationship between the law and themselves, each of the main components of the criminal justice system – courts, police, and corrections - are explored. The role of the victim and role of the media are also emphasized throughout. In addition, current and classic cases are included to highlight laws and procedures.
