Shirley Lichti, Instructor, Wilfrid Laurier University: School of Business & Economics
Shirley Lichti, B.A., M.A. , is the Canadian author on Grewal's Marketing and instructor at the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University where she has taught a range of undergraduate and graduate courses across the Marketing curriculum. A dedicated educator, Shirley has been recognized with numerous teaching awards, including the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities with The LIFT Award for Teaching Excellence in 2007.
Shirley has an extensive background in marketing, advertising, promotion, and training, which was developed during a 14-year career with IBM. She currently runs Marketing Magic, a Waterloo-based marketing communication consulting and training company. She has also been featured as a keynote speaker at conferences and has developed and delivered marketing seminars and workshops for many organizations including the Stratford Festival, Scotiabank, and Lexus Canada.
