Our Commitment to Accessibility and Inclusive Education
McGraw Hill is deeply committed to fostering accessibility and inclusion in education by ensuring equitable access for all learners. As part of this commitment, we continuously enhance our platforms, tools, and content to meet the latest accessibility standards, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.


Our Approach
Our Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs), also known as Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs), provide detailed insights into product accessibility, alongside companion documents that outline workarounds and future remediation plans. These resources reflect our dedication to creating inclusive learning experiences for all users.
In alignment with this mission, we are also supporting educational institutions in meeting the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) requirements by the April 2026 deadline. Through ongoing resources and guidance, we aim to empower institutions to comply with updated standards while fostering equitable learning environments.

To align with current best practices and continuously improve the accessibility of our products, our internal product teams regularly engage with external experts and solicit user feedback.
From planning and research to employee training and product development, we ensure that our employees and partners have the interests of all learners in mind when we bring new educational content and technologies to market.
Support of a global perspective
As a leading global education company, we are committed to supporting accessibility efforts around the world, including the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and the EU standard, EN 301 549.
Engagement with the accessibility community
In addition to developing experiences that meet the recommended guidelines, we are deeply engaged with accessibility advocacy organizations, forums, as well as organizations like the Book Industry Study Group, 1Ed Tech, SIIA, National Center on Accessible Digital Educational Materials and Instruction (NCADEMI), and Perkins School for the Blind.

McGraw Hill’s Global Accessibility Core Team provides guidance and support for each business unit.


This site’s accessibility
We are working to ensure our e-commerce sites meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards, having independent experts test the accessibility of our site and services, using representative assistive technologies used by our users. Our site currently aligns with many WCAG success criteria, and we are actively working to enhance and improve its compliance.
