The Canadian 2026 Release of Core Concepts in Health is a market-leading resource designed to empower students to take charge of their health. Irwin/Insel features comprehensive coverage of topics and issues concerning people in Canada, including nutrition, exercise, stress, weight management, intimate relationships, and more. New to this release are Spotting Misinformation boxes, which provide students with critical thinking tools to navigate complex health information they face today. These focused boxes examine misunderstood topics by presenting current research, evidence, and resolution strategies on dealing with mis- and disinformation.
Current Research. Every chapter of the Canadian 2026 Release has been updated to include relevant references to areas that may be affected by COVID-19. In addition, Canadian examples, references, data and statistics have been updated throughout.
