Dr. Jason (Jay) Laurendeau, associate professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Lethbridge, and Dillon Apsassin-Flamont, an oral historian and archivist pursuing a master’s degree in cultural, social, and political thought at the University of Lethbridge, reviewed this edition. Through their guidance, the new edition provides Indigenous perspectives and examines how traditional health practices impact diverse groups.
